Justice Reinvestment Oversight Board
The Justice Reinvestment Oversight Board was established in Chapter 515 to be housed within the Governor’s Office of Crime Control & Prevention. The Board is charged with monitoring the progress and compliance with the implementation of the recommendations of the Justice Reinvestment Coordinating Council and Chapter 515.

Justice Reinvestment Advisory Board
The Justice Reinvestment Advisory Board was established in Chapter 515 to provide advice to the Oversight Board. The Advisory Board is made up of stakeholders in the criminal justice system that is charged with analyzing the implementation of justice reinvestment initiatives.

Local Government Justice Reinvestment Commission
The Local Government Justice Reinvestment Commission was established in Chapter 515 to represent each county in advising the Oversight Board on various matters. The Commission is charged with making recommendations regarding grants to local governments and creating measures to assess the effectiveness of the grants.
